My daughter rescued Lady when she was going to Florida State. I was worried how a Border Collie would do in an apartment. Sydney would bring Lady home with her on school breaks to our small horse ranch in Punta Gorda. She would love the freedom of exploring the property and barn. Sydney could see the difference in Lady when she was home with us and so we decided to let her stay with us. She fit in perfectly with our pack of 2German Shepherd’s and one Jack Russel. That was close to 13 years ago that she came to stay with us. Years flew by and unfortunately we lost a lot of our pack, I am now down to one dog our Jack Russel, AJ. Hard to imagine getting up in the morning and not seeing our Lady. She was a faithful friend and protector of us all. She even chased a Pit Bull mix dog away that was attacking my German Shepherd. I loved each and every dog with my whole heart, but Lady holds a special place in my heart, it will only be replaced on that special day when I cross the rainbow bridge to reunite with my beloved pack.
Rest in Peace Lady, love you so!
