When I first met and brought home Isabelle, she was 6 months old. She had been kept in the bedroom of a small house all day, with little human interaction, and no grooming or medical care.
From that day on, Isabelle was always by my side. I had her groomed right away (I worked in a grooming salon and later became a groomer-her groomer). I had her taken care of medically, always, and gave her as much love as I could.
She moved with me to 4 different homes, was with me when I met my husband, and has been with us since we brought our 2 and 4 year old into this world. She was always kind to the boys, and loved their pets and kisses. She loved to play soccer with us, and would fetch the ball and bring it back to us.
She learned to swim in the lake up north with us, and was always happy to go “tubing” or floating with us, out on the water.
She was smart, she was sweet, and she had a huge heart- bigger than most humans. She loved every person she came into contact with. Isabelle was the definition of joy.
We will mis her today, tomorrow, and forever.
