Louie came to us from a nursing facility that was closing. He was loved by all the residents there. He watched over those that were ill or making their transition in life. Louie seemed to be able to sense when you were sad or needed cuddles. We thought of him as a a kind of therapy kitty. He was a big part of our lives for nearly 10 years. He was loved dearly by all of us but was very close to his Mama Kaylynn. He loved to go outside and hunt the fields especially in the summertime. He had characteristics of a dog at times. He knew when to come beg at the table for pieces of his favorite chicken that would be secretly tossed under the table. He was a rare breed called Turkish Van. The neighbors next door had a cat named Buddy that looked nearly identical to Louie. Louie will missed dearly by us all. He was a special part of our family.
