Merida was rescued at 7 weeks old and lived with her family for 7 and a half years until her passing in Mid July from Lymphoma. Merida hit the ground running with a sense of adventure contagious to people and dogs alike. Hiking, kayaking, camping, and traveling were her favorite activities as long as there were new smells and sights. Everyday was a new day to experience something new and was the spirit that stayed with her even in her last days. Her presence commanded the attention she deserved with her regal servility. Her imprint will be remembered forever by her two human parents, two dog brothers, and extended family.
