After grieving my sister for a year, I decided to share my life with an animal..wanted to rescue someone..give an animal a second chance. Found you,alone,in a cage,away from the others…automatically saw your sweet spirit, loved your long ears and whip tail. You took right to your brother Justin; didn’t know what to name you..you didn’t respond to the name your previous owners gave you. You,at that time,followed me everywhere! Your personality came out as you adjusted to your new furever home..you were very sensitive and gentle..you took over(and rightfully destroyed) my couch that became your bed..you showed your stuffed animals no mercy by removing their squeakers and promptly de-fluffing them five minutes after getting them..thank you for never eating the fluff or squeakers…to your love of a cheese sandwich anytime or a steak on your birthday…you would beg silently..
You basically took over my life,I wouldn’t have had it any other way. You gave me almost ten years that I surely would not have had otherwise. You stayed by my side through thick and thin. I respected your personality, I trusted it when you didn’t like someone,sorry you had to deal with the idiot factor of some people.
I miss you so much…your spots where you would sit now are empty. Thank you for the tons of hugs and kisses you gave when I fed you,gave you treats,or just spent time with you.
I knew back then,you were just on loan to me..now I have to give you back,but you still shine like the brightest star in the sky.
You rescued me more than I could have ever rescued you. Your service on this earth is done…we both did what we set out to do
Please look for my sister on Rainbow Bridge…keep her till I get there.
I know you are no longer suffering..you can rest in eternal peace now…just make time to stalk the squirrels and skunks to your heart’s content and chew on as much rawhide as you can handle.
