My son showed up one day with a cat he saw out in the snow and wanted to rescue. I had never been around cats before and didn’t even know how to hold him. I grew up with large dogs who were rough and tumble. Dad said, “No way!” Needless to say, we eventually took kitty in. Both of my boys soon moved out to find their future in California. Kitty stayed with me as I wanted to fill the void when the boys moved away. Shortly thereafter, the son who brought the cat home was killed in a car accident. Total devastation. I feel he listened to a prompting to bring the cat to me because I would need comfort. Bibbity was that source of comfort for 17 years.
