From the moment I saw Zeus’s adoption picture on Pet Finder, I immediately fell in love with him. I knew he would be mine! Funny that I named him Zeus when he was a tiny malnourished kitty that just fit in my hand. Little did I know he would grow into his name and end up being a 28 lb, long hair, Maine Coon mix. Zeus was definitely a character. Everyone who met him loved him. I think he acted more like a dog sometimes. If someone knocked on the door he was right there to see who it was. When I came home from work he was always running towards the door to greet me. In the summer he loved to chase frogs into the pool-not fun drying that fur. If I was in the shower he insisted on getting in there with me lol. Oh, and if he didn’t get what he thought was enough kitty cat treats he would open and shut all the cupboard doors. When he wasn’t causing mischief though, he was the best snuggler. He always knew when I was upset or in pain. For over 16 yrs he was right by my side. He brought so much joy to my life, he was my best friend! I wish I could have taken all his pain away, but at least I was able to hold his paw and tell him how much I love him as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again, my Mr Fur Face!
