Poncho left us way to soon! I remember the day we got Poncho, I ran to the foster lady that was carrying him into Petco, fear of another family that might be interested in him. After I took him from her, I knew he needed a life with us. He had many adventures through his 8 years with us. Nicknamed Little Man & Squirt. He had two Mama’s that loved him dearly. He loved people, he was our little greeter, he loved attention. He loved the outside, even though he would be tired from running, he still had the energy to get up when he heard movement to go outside. He loved playing ball, running after to fetch and bring back for another throw. He loved to go to the cottage and swim after the balls in the lake. If you didn’t throw it back out, he would bark until you did! He just loved to show us what he could do! He was a happy boy…again way too young. He loved to be scratched, his favorite spot was his inner legs, silly man. He loved to open the cabinet and pull his babies out to play and chew, his favorite toys were any type of ball or frisbee. He loved his brother Simon, he always shared a bed or checked on him, including running up to him and do a side chest bump because he was so excited to go for a ride. Poncho was a kind soul. Our hearts ache right now & we will miss him dearly, we do have comfort knowing he is in heaven with two of his brothers that he will now get to know. My little man Squirt, you will be remembered everyday & will stay in our broken hearts.
