Tyson crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Monday, September 13, 2021.
Born in April of 2004, Tyson and his siblings were abandoned by his mother in my mom’s backyard in Florida when they were kittens. My mom kept one of his brother’s and I decided to keep him as he had a spunky personality. Tyson was named after Mike Tyson, the boxer, as he would “play” with his brothers and sisters and chew on their ears.
When he was younger, my daughter liked to dress Tyson up in doll clothes which he did not mind. He would walk around the house with headbands and sweaters on. She also taught him how to shake with his paw (like a dog).
As he got older, he enjoyed taking his naps in the window in the sun and sitting on the couch with his dog brother and sister. More than anything Tyson loved to get attention and
Tyson was 17 1/2 years old when he left us. I will miss seeing his sweet little face every morning. However, he was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge to continue his journey. I am at peace as I know he is in a better place where he is happy and healthy.
He will be forever missed and forever remembered.
