When I was 17, I went to a reptile expo and fell in love with a beautiful snake! The first night i brought her home, she escaped her enclosure and crawled into bed with me. My mom was very confused when she woke me up the next morning! Little did I know, 18 would be the hardest year of my life! When I got home from college, I had a hard time getting back to normal. This big girl calmed my anxiety with her big hugs. Any time I started to get down, she would squeeze just tight enough to calm all my worries. When I met my husband, the first thing I said when he asked me what I loved was I love snakes. I actually have one thats 8ft. Needless to say, he was a little surprised, but met what most people would call crazy, head on. I had this snake for almost 10 years and she was my best friend every day of those years! She will be missed more than I can put into words!
