In loving memory of
Ayla Rose
Hammond

In the late summer of 2007 a small, yet spunky, little girl had hopes and dreams of her furever home. After leaving her birth family, she was adopted by multiple families that tried to make it work with her in their own homes. A kind gentleman took her in, with hopes that she would fit into his household as well. He allowed Gypsy Rose to spend an afternoon with some friends of his, and from that point on, she would become the Hammond’s only “dogter”

Having came from a few homes, a name was chosen. Ayla Rose Hammond. Many called her by her first name, unless they wanted cuddles, or dropped food on the floor. What ever named was used, it was likely she was directly below and attacking anything with flavor.

Ayla enjoyed hikes with her grandpa and brothers, Colton Spartacus, and the late Peri Ellis. While tolerable of her feline siblings, Sqwuizgaar, and the late, Samantha, she stood her ground as the matriarch of the fur babies. Never having interest in lizards, Ayla payed little attention to her bearded lizard siblings, Adrian, or the late Speedy. Many other pets have shared the same love that Ayla’s family showed, including hamsters and hedgehogs.

Ayla had an addiction to anything that squeeked, and loved Lambchop stuffed babies. In her later years, she allowed them to keep their eyes, stuffing, and squeekers.

Ayla will be truly missed by all that knew her. She had a special way of making her way into the hearts of all, and blessing many with her small body, big attitude.

Thank you Beener, for making memories with us. Sleep well little girl.
