As I began my journey into adult hood, Dutchess came into my life at just 6 weeks old as the cutest, sweetest little boxer/mutt puppy ever! She was curious and playful and loved to snuggle. She was so easy to train and always listened with ease. As time went bye, I welcomed my oldest daughter into the world 2011. Dutchess was absolutely amazing with her, always there to play and cuddle with Lilly, letting her tug on her big strong whip of a tail, pry open her big moo moo cow eyes as she slept on the couch, and try to climb on top of her to ride her life a horse. Years went bye and we welcomed my son and then my twin girls into the family. We hand many other cats and dogs throughout the years, none that lasted like Dutchess did! She moved out of state with us, then back home to Michigan. For years I tried to prepare myself for Dutchess to cross over, and for years she continued to age and love life! For 17 years she stood by my side through thick and thin, never going to a vet a day in her life. She was healthy as a horse and the happiest dog I knew! I thank God for a life blessed with such an amazing best friend to experience so many huge life experiences with. It was an honor being her momma and her best friend. She will be carried deep in my heart for the rest of my days!
