Keeping in mind that he was 100 pounds, he was terrified of a 6 pound elderly cat who did not have claws. One day he was smelling our old cat and she didn’t like it so she whopped him on the nose. From that day forward he would dodge her like she could really hurt him. It was comical. Nico believed himself to be a lap dog. He was big and awkward and always bumping into things. He would climb up and rest his body on anybody who gave him attention whether you were a fit young man, or an 84 year old woman. He did not discriminate on who he received love from. Nico left a hole in my heart that will remain for the rest of my life. Nico was able to be surrounded by his loved ones on the deck when he passed and Pet Passages did an amazing job helping us to say goodbye.
