Tucker was the sweetest soul. He was as loving as he was handsome. All he ever wanted was to be at home or in our yard with his family. Other than our family, his favorite things were visitors and stealing our food. He thoroughly enjoyed chasing toys and animals (and catching a few) in his youth. He always loved laying on our back porch and watching over our yard, which we called his kingdom. He was an adamant protector and watchdog and was so loving to us and pretty much everyone he met. We will never forget our first pet as a married couple and family. We were practically babies when we brought him home and we all grew together. He was the best boy and we will always miss him. Until we meet again, sweet boy, we love you.

My first grand dog Tucker, I thank you for #1 teaching your Mom and Dad about “parenting.” The ups and downs, and waking up early to feed a demanding, energetic puppy. Thank you for loving and protecting your family. Thank you for loving me and being so happy when I visited. (Maybe you can guide Roxie in to being less sassy?). My heart is breaking for your family, but their memories will keep you close. Until we meet again, I will miss you and love you. Love, Grandma
