Our beautiful Ginger was born and raised in Texas. She knew sunshine and loved it, even finding it whenever she could. She was the joy of my Mom, Shirley Jean. Her husband had died and she found Ginger, who was her companion until the day Mom went to heaven. After this, Ginger transitioned to a life in Michigan. She moved in with us and my daughter Abigail and her 4 children. She had lots of escapades with Rosie, our granddaughter, who was 3 at the time.Ginger taught us to slow down and love like no other. She loved to sit in our laps, play with Rosie including running together around the yard. Our 12 grandchildren all have their own memories of our sweet Ginger. She loved our coffee trips and her favorite pup cups. In the end she had an enlarged heart that took her from us. But I knew when Jesus came and took her in his hands. She was full of energy again and I know they were headed to the rainbow bridge. One day we will all be united in heaven and Ginger will show us around in glory. Buddy and I are so thankful for the time we had with this special gift from above. We’ll meet you in the morning sweet girl.
